Seasonal Greetings from all at Central Car Auctions

Thursday, 18 December, 2014

The Directors, the Management Team and all staff at Central Car Auctions would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for your custom and continued support throughout 2014.

It’s been quite a year. With everything from the Commonwealth Games to the country’s Referendum debate, Scotland has again been positively put ever more firmly on the world map. We’ve seen economic growth across the whole country too, and where it may not have shone quite as bright as the sun did this summer, it looks like we are all moving forward and in the right direction towards improved prosperity.

If the European and other world markets can make the same improvements and we can see a reduction of world conflicts, then 2015 could be quite rosy. But that’s really all in the hands of others, so for the moment we’ll need to create our own good news.

To that end, I recently announced our acquisition of the land adjacent to our Baillieston, Glasgow complex which will allow us considerably more scope on how we can even further improve the service we provide to prepare and present vehicles for our three weekly auctions. In short, we are going to be even bigger, even better in 2015.

We shall also be a little older, with 2015 being our 50th Anniversary year … although, rather than reflect on our age, I prefer to say we are now 50 years more progressive. I trust you agree and will join us for the 50th celebrations we are planning across the forthcoming year.

But first it’s time to enjoy this festive period and to see in the coming New Year. So, on behalf of all the team at Central Car Auctions, may we wish you and yours our best Seasonal Greetings, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2015.

Just a reminder that our first auction of the coming New Year is on Friday 2rd January from 12noon and we are already expecting it to be a busy sale with an unbeatable range and choice of fresh vehicles. My team and I look forward to seeing you again then.

My sincere and warmest best wishes,

Jason Miller, Managing Director.
