We understand that running a business doesn’t stop at the weekend. That's why we've introduced timed auctions, allowing you to bid at your own pace and stock up on the vehicles you want every weekend.

What are timed auctions?

Timed auctions are online auctions that run for a set period of time and don’t require a live auctioneer. They allow you to bid on vehicles outside usual auction times, such as at the weekend – so you have more time to stock up if you can’t make live auctions during the week.

How do timed auctions work?

Vehicles are appraised, graded and uploaded

Just like a live online or physical auction, the vehicles are all appraised, graded and uploaded to the website before the auction. This gives you a chance to view inspection reports and images ahead of placing a bid.

Auction starts: the countdown
is on

The auction will be scheduled for a set time period, during which you can log on and bid at your own pace, or place a proxy bid ahead of time. A countdown clock will start once the auction starts, so you’ll know how much time you have left to bid.

See stock you want and don’t want to wait? Use our new ‘Buy now’ feature to pay the agreed price and end the auction early.

After the auction finishes

Once the timed auction finishes, a member of our team will be in touch with you on the next business day.

When are the timed auctions?

Our timed auctions run every weekend, giving you plenty of time to browse and bid. The timed auction starts at 7pm every Friday and stops at 11pm on Sunday.

In addition to timed auctions, we run live online auctions every weekday, as well as physical auctions every Wednesday and Friday.
